VBS Is Coming Your Way!
Families, Vacation Bible School is quickly coming your way. Each year, Salem hosts a Vacation Bible School because we see the value in sharing Jesus with children and telling them how awesome he is! This year’s theme is Destination Dig and we will uncover truths about Jesus from the Bible, together. Due to the COVID uncertainty, we have planned for a virtual VBS that will be made available July 26–30. We will be sharing video content that is fun, upbeat, full of truth, songs, and activities for kids of all ages. Your whole family will want to watch together and invite the neighbors over!
We also want to kick VBS off in a special way. We’d like to invite our Salem families and your neighbors to join us for an in person kickoff at Salem on Sunday, July 25th from 4–6 PM. We will have popsicles, water games, and other fun activities for families to get to know each other and reach the community! Don’t forget to sign up ASAP to receive your VBS packet and streaming information.

Get An Authentic Chinese Lunch And Help Rebuild A Church in India
On Sunday, August 8 at 12PM in the Fellowship Hall our brothers and sisters of the Mandarin class are hosting a fundraiser to raise funds for rebuilding a church in India. For a donation of $10 you can get an authentic Chinese lunch tray, or for a donation of $18 you can get a full combo lunch that includes a soymilk custard box cake and drink to go with your meal. This is a great opportunity to join together and support a church abroad!

Salem’s Mission Committee is sponsoring a Christmas in July to support “Operation Christmas Child!” Donation bins are available in the lobby of Building D and at the church office and elsewhere around campus. Find a list of items that are needed at the link below. We plan to fill 1400 boxes that will be sent by Salem Baptist Church in December. Your donations are greatly appreciated!
